Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct is central to the ethos of BWF membership and reflects the standards of professional conduct, quality, and service that all members have committed to achieve. Through a broad business review that focusses on eight principles of good practice for a woodworking or joinery business, compliance with the BWF Code of Conduct gives consumers the confidence that members are working consistently to high professional standards.
The Code of Conduct audit categories and question set was reviewed and updated in 2024 to mirror current legislative and best practise requirements. The new BWF Connect auditing platform has been trialled by the BWF Board and Council throughout 2024 ahead of full launch to members in 2025.
